Human-Centered Storytelling in Digital Spaces
Let's Connect

Teaching

Integrates theory, creative practice, and ethical reflection to help students understand digital and AI-mediated platfroms as formative forces in culture and public life. Through project-based learning, human-centered design, and reflective frameworks, I prepare students to create responsibly, think critically, and lead with discernment in rapidly evolving digital environments.

Previous & Ongoing Research

My research explores stories in digital platforms—how digital media and AI shape meaning, ethics, visibility, and public understanding. Using structural and weighted content analysis, media framing analysis, UX and design-based research, and creative documentary methods, I study digital storytelling, AI mediation, digital religion, and platform-driven narratives, including sustained work on mass shooting coverage.

Services to the Profession and the Community

My service advances institutional innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and mission-driven engagement within and beyond the university. I contribute through academic leadership, curriculum and technology development, student research mentorship, editorial and professional service, and community-based work that bridges digital expertise, ethics, and the Jesuit commitment to the common good.

Charities I support

Sponsoring the less priviledged in the poorest parts of the world is a passionate interest. So also providing food and water to the hungry and housing for those living on the streets. I founded a non-profit organization, Gratia Vobis Ministries , to live and share Christ's love not only by words, but through acts of giving. For me, the poor don't deserve leftovers; they deserve our best.
